2023 Impact Report: A Year of Achievement
In 2023 Sadler Health Center celebrated significant milestones, most notably the opening of its West Shore Center on Dec. 4. This new “medical mall” brings together a wide range of services, including medical, dental, behavioral health, vision, pharmacy, lab services and soon, express care – all under one roof. Another milestone was reached as more than 10,000 patients made nearly 38,000 visits, supported by our dedicated team who went beyond medical care to address broader community needs like insurance eligibility, housing security and access to essential resources.
Despite challenges in workforce recruitment, particularly for dental and medical assistants, Sadler responded with innovative in-house training programs that successfully prepared new professionals. Our outreach efforts also expanded, with a mobile unit visiting Shippensburg and Newport weekly, bringing healthcare directly to the community. Through these initiatives, Sadler continues to provide compassionate, high-quality care and remains committed to advancing health equity for all.
