CARLISLE, PA – Sadler Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center providing community-based comprehensive primary care, dental care, behavioral health and support services at its centers in downtown Carlisle and Loysville, announced the appointment of Maureen J. Miller-Griffie, MSN, MS, APRN, FNP-BC to its team of providers.
“Miller-Griffe joins Sadler as a family nurse practitioner at our Carlisle location”, said Manal El Harrak, Chief Executive Officer of Sadler Health Center. “She will bring almost 40 years of nursing experience to Sadler and will be an asset by offering quality and compassionate care to patients as a family nurse practitioner”, El Harrak added.
Originally from Bellefonte, PA, Miller-Griffe earned a nursing diploma from the Altoona Hospital of Nursing, Altoona, PA. She achieved a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from the University of Delaware and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She attended the University of Maryland University College and graduated with a Master of Science degree with a concentration in Healthcare Administration. Recently, she completed her Master of Science degree in Nursing with a concentration as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University.
Prior to joining Sadler, Maureen worked in the Emergency Department at UPMC-Carlisle as a Staff Nurse. She is married and has three children – all boys plus a new grandchild, also a boy! She enjoys gardening and hopes to further her education in healthcare by obtaining a doctorate in nursing practice.
“My goal is to offer a holistic approach to patients by caring for the person as a whole. Comprehensive care is important in order to help patients achieve their best health”, Miller-Griffe said.
