MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (Oct. 14, 2024) – Sadler Health Center today opened a new Express Care clinic at its West Shore Center, located at 5210 E. Trindle Road in Mechanicsburg. This clinic is Cumberland County’s first walk-in facility to offer a sliding fee scale, ensuring patients can access affordable care for minor illnesses and injuries without the burden of high emergency room costs.
The Express Care clinic provides quick and convenient treatment for a range of unexpected health concerns. With no appointment required, patients can walk in and receive care for conditions such as cold and flu symptoms, ear, nose and throat infections, sprains, burns, minor fractures, rashes, cuts, bites, stings and allergies. The clinic also offers vaccinations, physical exams and routine health screenings.
To ensure access to care, Sadler uses a sliding fee scale based on income and household size to make services affordable for everyone, including those who are uninsured or underinsured.
The new Express Care clinic is part of Sadler Health Center’s broader medical mall concept, offering a comprehensive range of health services under one roof. In addition to Express Care, Sadler provides primary care, dental and vision services, behavioral health care, lab work and nutrition counseling. Sadler patients can also access an onsite pharmacy.
Express Care welcomes both current Sadler patients and new patients for their immediate health care needs. Those visiting Sadler for the first time can explore becoming a patient to access a full range of Sadler services for ongoing care.
The Express Care clinic is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information, visit sadlerhealth.org/services/express-care or call 717-218-6670.
